Landing that first piece of media coverage
“PR is playing the long game.”
I hear this a lot. Of course, it is true (a reputation takes time to build), BUT there are smaller things you can do that will also get you results quickly.
Work smarter not harder, as you will find out, is my motto!
I’ve worked with household name brands and been part of mega complicated PR strategies. So complicated that the sheer mass of emails, Slack notifications and spreadsheets would make your eyes fall out.
Whilst that can be fun (sometimes), I mainly get my kicks out of making it as simple as possible. And working with smaller businesses that don’t have a huge marketing team or London-PR-agency-budget behind them.
Over the coming months, I will be sharing masses of PR tips and varying ideas you can try.
I agonised for far too long on over what to include in this first paid subscriber post because each tip could turn into its own post.
